Support for the “Pink Ribbon Campaign” and the “Teal & White Ribbon Project”

Ci FLAVORS Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & CEO: Yoshiaki Okura; hereinafter “the Company”) is pleased to announce its official support for certified non-profit organizations dedicated to promoting the early detection and treatment of diseases specific to women.

With our corporate purpose, “Illuminate Individuality, Brighten Lives, Shine the World.”, we strive to bring the joy of beauty to customers around the globe. Approximately 71% of our employees are women, and a large portion of our customer base are also women who enjoy our products.

In Japan, it is said that one in nine women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. Cervical cancer is most prevalent among women in their 20s and 30s, and the incidence among even younger women continues to rise each year.

In light of these facts, we have decided to make donations to the following organizations, with the aim of not only protecting the health of our employees but also supporting the wellbeing of our customers and contributing to a healthier and more sustainable society.

Certified NPO: J.POSH (Japan Pink Ribbon Campaign)

J.POSH works to increase breast cancer screening rates, promote early detection, and provide support for breast cancer patients and their families.
Their activities include:

  • Scholarships for children of cancer patients (for high school students only)
  • Creating accessible hot spring experiences for those who have undergone breast cancer treatment
  • Organizing “Japan Mammography Sunday (JMS),” a nationwide initiative to ensure access to breast cancer screening on the third Sunday of October each year

We are proud to support these valuable efforts.

Certified NPO: Cancer Net Japan

With the vision of “creating a society where people can live fulfilling lives even with cancer,” Cancer Net Japan works with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals to improve cancer care in Japan.
The organization’s “Teal & White Ribbon Project” is an awareness initiative focused on cervical cancer. Their activities include:

  • Dissemination of information on prevention and disease management
  • Distribution of educational leaflets
  • Hosting seminars and public events

We supports and will continue to promote this important project.

Moving forward, Ci FLAVORS Co., Ltd. will remain committed to supporting these organizations and furthering awareness initiatives related to breast and cervical cancers, contributing to the realization of a society focused on health and wellness.
